Just now went to Immigration office to do passport but it didn't went smooth. The reason is that I'm sarawakian. There are some rules to differentiate the procedures and documents needed between those who born in east Malaysia and west Malaysia.
For people who born in east Malaysia, we need to prepare birth certificate (original and 2 photocopies) as well as mykad (original and 2 photocopies). The officer said that they need 1 copy to send to east Malaysia and wait for their approval. This process usually takes about 5 working day.
I didn't bring my birth certificate so have to do it another day else. Sigh... What a waste of time. But thanks to the officer who told me that. Hope they can put this information on their website. It would definitely helps.
